What principles lie behind a successful or unsuccessful organization? It starts by determining how you measure success. For the feeling that your credit union has done well, and that you have done good in the process, it may require looking at the deeper causes and effects at work. Assessing the entire leadership team is an important function that all too many organizations overlook. TEAM Resources has developed effective tools for measuring and discussing assessments and we look forward to facilitating your processes.
Board Self-Evaluation and Report
Prior to the Planning session we will distribute and collect a self evaluation from the board of directors. This allows not only the facilitator but also the Board of Directors to gather information on how the Board of Directors works as a team to guide the CU. This quantified process may shed light on problem areas or clarify roles in the broader leadership picture. Information gathered from this survey is kept in strict confidentiality while the reports reveal areas of strength and weakness on the team with diplomacy.
CEO Evaluation and Report
Not unlike the Board Self-Evaluation the CEO Evaluation quantifies how satisfied the board of Directors is with the CEO. This evaluation and report can be performed in tangent with the Strategic Planning Process or as a stand-alone process. The process illumines responsibility and accountability areas of the credit unions leadership in such a way that the spirit of community is present and supportive. This process is completed prior to the Planning session unless otherwise discussed. |
