Yogi's right again. The credit union world is changing so rapidly, looking to the past won't help us in the future. Where is your credit union headed? How are you going to serve your members in the Internet Age? What is going to happen to your Field of Membership? What products and services are you going to offer your members to keep them coming to you?

These are just some of the questions credit unions need to be considering to remain financially healthy and viable in the coming years.

Some credit unions will need to become on-line service providers; some will be able to remain in-person service providers; some will take a route in between. But all credit unions are going to have to give thoughtful consideration to how they are going to survive in the Internet Age.

We have worked with credit unions from $2 million to over $1 billion in assets. During that time, we learned that credit unions, although similar in many ways, have very different needs caused by different Fields of Membership, different regions, and different expectations.
